In October, the locals of South Jordan, Sandy, Midvale, Salt Lake City, South Salt Lake, Provo, and Ogden offered me food, liquid refreshment, monies, gift card(s), coupon(s) (coupon booklet[s]), ticket(s) (bus, and train), care package(s) (toiletries, notepad[s], etc.), winter gear (coat[s], and pants), shelter, ride(s), Religious pamphlet(s), job opportunities, Shelter information/suggestions, shelter information/suggestions, travel advice, and encouragement. *End result: food, a belt, and another [an International Coffeehouse Chain] Reusable Coffee Cup (NOTE: The Airport Police misplaced or stole my other Reusable Coffee Cup, after unnecessarily thoroughly searching my cooler/lunch bag [probably for narcotics...laughable, because I DON'T DO DRUGS...so...])

[NOTE: Once again, I noticed that Subway WAS STILL AFFILIATED WITH DOCTOR'S ASSOCIATES. I actually thought the food was good. But, I DID NOT APPRECIATE SUBWAY FOR TRAUMATIZING ME by continuing operations w/ an unnecessary association/correlation to Medical Doctors. At this point, they have annoyed me with their careless lack of consideration for all, who are Religious/Spiritual enough to detest word association with the Medical/Health Care Industry (i.e., the Worldly Socialist "Pagan Physician-Slow Healer" Industry).]

*ProStop [Gas Station/Convenience Store]/Paco's Tacos Mexican Food [Mexican Restaurant]: $$$1 Worker offered popcorn (after they moved a trash bag towards the Popcorn Maker machine)...after I asked if I could help finish off the remaining popcorn$$$; $$$1 Worker [on another day] offered popcorn. [NOTE: Even though, the Worker was charitable enough to pass the remaining popcorn, I was denied use of the in-store oven (which looked similar to a pizza oven). I requested oven use, because I desired to finish baking MY OWN BREAD in the oven. Nevertheless, I still successfully put together my own bread for the day. Most of the baking took place on an outdoor energy box. And, THE LESSON OF THE DAY: if the SUNLIGHT can't bake it, just find an oven, and if a CONVENTIONAL OVEN is not available, just MICROWAVE it and PRAY for a more EVOLVED WAY to bake it WITHOUT THE MODERN CLICHE. With that in mind, perhaps a "Star Trek" replicator can bake it right, just like they did back in the "olden days." *JUST PLAIN LAUGHABLE*]$$$

[NOTE: Now, I want a hot plate or griddle, so that I can quickly bake MY OWN BREAD, during the inopportune times when Law Enforcement could interrupt the bread making process. :) *JUST DARN LAUGHABLE*] Nevertheless, 1 of the 2 Officers sympathized with my travel situation, and offered me a coat for the winter, after asking questions about my current housing status, whereabouts of any family, state of origin, travel plans, and "Protest/Demonstration" notepad. During the encounter, the Officer asked about my age, if I had kids, any other immediate family, if there were any family looking for me, if I was a runaway from home, and if I had any plans to reunite with any family. I responded, "I'm 32. No. [I do not have kids.] I have not spoke with my former Legal Guardians for years. We have Religious denomination differences... Yet, I'm still a Christian...a Protestant. They're [supposedly still] Full Gospel Baptist. So, we have different Religious ways. They do what they do [their way], and I worship God the way I do. [So, we can't be neighbors.]... I'm originally from Michigan. Yet, I've been on my own since college...18 [years old]. I'm an adult. I'm not married to [my former Legal Guardians]. [Therefore, I have no plans to return to Michigan.] I travel. I'm a backpacker. I plan to backpack in Israel, the Holy Land, too. I want to see the Holy Sites. I grew up attending a Church. [And, like many Christians, I have a strong desire to Pilgrimage in the Holy Land.] So, I hope to [spend] the remainder of my days in Israel." Furthermore, the Officer mentioned that there were still warrants out for my arrest in West Valley, and encouraged me to handle those warrants soon. [NOTE: Before the Police arrived, the Worker, encountered before, who denied me use of the in-store oven, was witnessed walking through the parking lot with a cellphone. I SENSE RACISM. Especially since, the Worker did not respect me enough to just simply ask me to leave the Property.]

Also, the Local greatly encouraged me to contact my former [Legal Guardians]. However, I explained that I forsook "all of that" to follow my "Lord & Savior" Jesus Christ more directly.

[NOTE: American Gas Stations actually listen to Health Inspectors! Sad...so very sad. The Workers don't even look a million "examination, evaluation, and treatment" dollars in an attractive hole. [NOTE: 1 of the Officers insisted that I leave the town, because a large arrest warrant was noticed on my record. Even though, the Officer did not seem really concerned, I was encouraged to leave the town, because they said that there would be more pressure to arrest me in the future, if they notice me again in that town.]

Specifically, the Panhandler mentioned that the Salt Lake City Shelters were badly managed and plagued by negative criminal elements (such as thieves, murderers, etc.). Furthermore, the Panhandler was recently turned away from a major Salt Lake City Downtown Shelter (because of overcrowding), and later asked to leave another Shelter that only allowed drunkards to stay overnight. Laughably, the "drunks only" Shelter forced each visitor to take a breathalyzer test, and booted all visitors who PASSED THE BREATHALYZER TEST (because they weren't inebriated enough to stay in such a Shelter)! Lastly, the Panhandler suggested areas around town to get temporary shelter and pitch tents. [NOTE: The aforementioned Panhandler had litigation (lawsuits) against certain towns and Law Enforcement in Utah, because they allegedly harassed and 'discriminated against' them for panhandling.]

Even though it now seems as if Charity Donation drop boxes have disappeared from parking lots all over Utah, while I leisurely trudged along through Midvale, I spotted a Donation Center. Next, I donated a jumpsuit, and some items recently donated to me in a few care packages to the Savers [Thrift Store Chain]/Community Donation Center. For making a donation, Savers offered a 20% off coupon. So, THUMBS UP towards my BLESSING-METER, because I still MADE A WAY OUT OF NO CONVENIENT WAY to be charitable. :) :) :)
Moreover, I recently offered a FREE ice cream cone to an Elderly Woman at an Arctic Circle [Fast-Food Chain] in Midvale. Also, I managed to get her an additional bag of food (fries, sandwich, etc.) from the Restaurant Workers. Earlier, the Elderly Woman walked over just as I exited the Restaurant (after I placed an order inside the Restaurant), and said, "[If I had the money, then] I would go in, and get a chocolate cone... [Yet] I got a cigarette, so I can't go in. (Meanwhile, the Elderly Woman continued to smoke a cigarette.)" So, I offered her a FREE chocolate ice cream cone. While back inside the Restaurant, I explained that 'the Elderly Woman outside wanted an ice cream cone,' and 'I offered to pay for the cone.' Yet, the generous Restaurant Workers mentioned that they recognized the Elderly Woman, who supposedly often visited the Restaurant for food, and would handle the "free food offering" from there. However, as promised, I picked up the food, and handed it to the Elderly Woman.
