In January, the locals of Topeka, Steamboat Springs, Sandy, South Jordan, Salt Lake City, American Fork, Lehi, Orem, Provo, and Draper offered me food, liquid refreshment, tobacco (cigarette[s]), monies, gift card(s), ticket(s) (Greyhound bus, and train), care package(s) (used hair products), facial tissue, hand warmers, towels (hand towels, and paper towels), clothing, shopping cart(s), Hotel room(s), temporary shelter, ride(s), palm reading(s), help, Religious Group information/suggestions, Shelter information/suggestions, camping information/suggestions, and encouragement. *End result: food, another [bona fide plastic Airport-style folding cart] luggage cart. [NOTE: Thankfully, the Target in American Fork is still well-stocked in their luggage aisle (w/ the typical luggage products, including the popular luggage carts). Strangely, the Targets and Walmarts in other Utah towns (recently visited) neglected to supply their luggage aisles w/ at least one standard-issue luggage cart.], and [finger wrap/protection] waterproof adhesive tape (to protect my fingers from the harsh after-effects of exposure to cold weather and hard water, during the winter months)

*Greyhound Bus near [an international Fast-Food Chain]: 1 Rider (who sat next to me on the bus) [in an intercity coach bus] offered monies (later that evening), and 'to pay for food & water/beverage' (esp. a hamburger from [an international Fast-Food Chain] [if wanted]), also inquired about my 'travel situation & story.' During the bus trip, the Rider mentioned that one of their close Relatives (???a Parent???) is a Syrian-Jewish Christian. Also, they explained that they are a WordPress (Content Management System [CMS]) aficionado, and WAP (Wireless Application Protocol)/cellphone Page Designer. (So, they also have a career in Web Development.) Notably--after they sparked up some 'controversial talk' about Religion, Palestinians, and the Jewish People (esp. the Non-Messianic Jews) in Israel--they also expressed support for dispelling Islam, and called the founder of Islam, "False Prophet Muhammad." [NOTE: It was a coincidental encounter, because I was actually scheduled to take another Greyhound bus towards Salt Lake City, UT, that afternoon. In Denver, CO, my scheduled Greyhound bus transfer was late/delayed (and possibly canceled) due to several accidents, mechanical problems, and Driver reassignments (from what I overheard a few Greyhound Bus Drivers loudly discussing). During the bus delay, I noticed another bus (pull into another gate) that displayed a "Destination Sign" to Salt Lake City, UT. At that point, I was unsure about the accuracy of the Greyhound Bus system. So, I decided to investigate. At first attempt, I walked towards the bus, and one of the Baggage Handlers looked at my ticket, and stated that my ticket was for another bus to Salt Lake City. Well, I noticed that other Riders w/ similar tickets were boarding that bus, consequently treating it as a de facto transfer bus. Next attempt, I simply walked up to the Driver, showed my ticket, passed my hiking backpack to the same Baggage Handler that I encountered earlier, and got on the bus. Initially, the Rider (who sat next to me on the bus) inquired about my bus schedule, and explained the bus route (for the de facto transfer bus). Later, I discovered that my scheduled bus, and the de facto transfer bus were on different routes. Specifically, my scheduled bus was on an Interstate route (Northward and across Wyoming), while the de facto transfer bus was on a Highway route (across Colorado) towards Salt Lake City.]

*The Shops at South Town [Shopping Mall] (a former location of South Towne Center [Shopping Mall]): 1 Shopper (who is a Mormon) offered 'to pay for food & beverage' (from [an international Fast-Food Chain]), a ride, additional help (if needed), and Shelter information/suggestions, also inquired about "my travel situation & story"...while I looked towards a large framed image (promotional banner)--that promoted the next phases of renovation at the Mall--on a walled up storefront (of a vacant Department Store); 1 Shopper (w/ another Shopper), encountered before, [on another day] offered monies (to pay for warm food)...while I finished off some cereal in a seating area near a walled up storefront (of a vacant Department Store). [NOTE: On a previous day, the Shopper inquired about my travel situation and story, after mentioning that they remembered me from a past encounter, over a year ago. Shockingly, they recalled certain details about my former in-laws, and insisted that I give them the full name and contact information of one of my former legal guardians. I responded by explaining that I haven't seen them for years, so I didn't want to put their names out there. Also, I forsook family, friends, and houses to pick up my cross daily and follow Jesus Christ more realistically (SEE Matthew 19:29; Luke 9:23). Yet, they explained that Mothers and Daughters should stick together. So, they continue to try to rekindle the bond between them and one of their Daughters, who recently got married and has been distant.]

Since they were Catholics, I made sure to mention my Catholic School background at St. Scholastica (6th grade) and Siena Heights University (Undergrad studies).

*Wendy's [Fast-Food Chain]: 1 Customer offered monies...soon after I walked away from the order counter w/ my order; 1 Vagrant offered a care package (i.e., used hair products [including hair extensions] [that were probably picked out of a trash can] in a small gift bag), after first requesting a dollar for the bag (w/ solicitation for a bum's worth of "Time & Effort" :D )...while I finished off some food at a Dining Room table. [NOTE: Later, I overheard the Vagrant in a loud argument w/ the Workers, who then booted them from the Restaurant. Afterwards, 1 of the Workers explained that the Vagrant walked into the kitchen, and tried to place a few burgers on the grill, even after the Worker offered them a FREE baked potato.]

*UTA TRAX [Light Rail Train] Ballpark Stop: 1 Rider (who is a Homeless Person, and stays at a Hotel in Midvale) [in a train] offered a train ticket, folding shopping cart (in the future, if needed), and Hotel room stay (i.e., a shared Hotel room stay), also inquired about "my travel situation & story"...while I sat in a seat on a train. [NOTE: At another TRAX Stop, a few UTA Transit Police Officers entered the train, and checked for tickets (fare payment). Then, I showed 1 of the Officers my train ticket, and they quickly stated that it was not valid, even though I purchased the ticket earlier that day. So, the Rider, who pulled out a Disability card, told the Officers that I was their Attendant (a.k.a. Personal Care Attendant/PCA), and offered me their train ticket. Fortunately, the Officers acknowledged the Rider's efforts, didn't press the issue, and walked away.]
