Christianity is based on the teachings and life of Jesus Christ-Yeshua Messiah (also known to be Jesus of Nazareth), who was a Jewish Healer, Teacher, and Prophet from Nazareth, Israel (born in Bethlehem). Christians are followers of Yeshua Messiah, who was obviously a Jew and citizen of Israel (spiritually and contextually, even though the region was called Judea during the Roman occupation).
